Fans angered by 2PM Conference remarks "A cracked friendship"
After leader jaebum (Real Name Park jaebum) terminated the contract with the company JYP Entertainment (or JYP) and officially left the team, the fans have turned into antis and are pouring out their criticisms.
On the past 27th, the 6 members of 2PM and a JYP representative, 90 fans attended a conference. This occured in order to reveal JYP and 2PM's point of view about jaebum's permanent expulsion, but the fans denounced JYP who limited the situation.
The 6 members revealed that they agreed with jaebum's permanent explusion. Taecyeon said "I think that he is a really good hyung but what jaebum hyung did was inappropriate so we couldn't accept him" and Junsu, as prediceted hammered a nail and said "Park Jaebum as a member of 2PM is inappropriate".
Through their homepage, JYP mentioned jaebum's "serious personal problems" but at the end they did not reveal it. Criticizing that it was quite a malicious thing, CEO Jung Woo said "Through this problem, we didn't want him to become a betrayer of the 6 members if it got revealed later".
In adition CEO Jung said "If you look at it schematically, the 6 members are victims and if we didn't tell you the truth, then the doubts would remain continuous so we truthfully said it was a 'serious personal problem'" adding his personal input.
2PM members as predicted remained silent. They said "As soon as we heard that story (the personal problem) nobody could say a word. If anybody heard this or if you guys found out you would react the same. Because we respect jaebum hyung, we cannot say what it was that he did".
The curiosity of the background of jaebum's permanent expulsion was not extinguished, but through this conference they learned the fact that all 6 members agreed to jaebum's withdrawal and that the friendship that they had with each other already went down the river and that there is no way it'll come back.
On the other hand, the recording of the conference is spreading quickly online. 2PM fans learned that they mentioned jaebum's personal life and defamed him and on top of that at this conference, fans felt betrayed and disappointed by the attitude and manners that the members expressed.
They especially placed Chansung and Taecyeon's comments on cutting boards. Chansung expressed his pent-up anger by saying "We tried to understand Park jaebum. We held ourselve back during the boycott. But why do you keep blaming us and not Park jaebum". In reference to the videos of jaebum bbyoing, the boys replied "that's what we want to ask him. Why he acted that way" causing the fans to get angry.
In Taecyeon's case, he clearly showed hostility towards jaebum saying that "You may think that we aren't defending him at all, but not revealing what jaebum hyung did is defending him. Rumors disappear" and is receiving focused attacks from fans.
