We’ve mentioned in one of our recent updates that JYPE might be following a strategy right now to gain more sympathy for 6PM. The main goal is to purposely anger fans, who will then do rash things, which then will make the public feel bad for 6PM, and make the k-hottests look bad overall. If this sympathy plan works out perfectly, it will ensure that 6PM’s next album promotions will go smoothly.

So far, everything has been working in favor of JYPE’s plan:

- JYPE announces that Jay had a “scandal” during A&A promotions and that he’s the attacker while the remaining members are victims. (This will make the public see Jay in a bad light, while feeling bad for 6PM having to be dragged down by him.)

- 6PM members anger fans at the conference with their words and behavior.
'
- The fans release sasaeng account and photos.
'
- JYPE seeks police help after some fans supposedly tracked down the boys’ citizen registration number. (We are unsure if this really happened, but one of the writers here saw screenshots which were later taken down from the site. We also don’t know whether JYPE really contacted the police or is only telling the media that they did.)

If you read the comments on various International Kpop news sites, most people right now think badly of the Korean fans for their actions. This is exactly what JYPE wanted.

Now there is a rumor on Daum that JYPE plans to have one member fake a suicide attempt to gain even more sympathy. The member will be taken to the emergency room to “recover.” It will most likely be one of the more popular members and a well-written suicide note will be included. The note will include the member’s account of Jay’s “scandal” and how frustrating it was that the fans didn’t understand how they felt. If JYPE really does go through with this, it will play a huge part in the sympathy tactics.
