It seems as if 2PM and Jaebum’s talk about the truth is going to start up again.
On May 10th, 2PM member Junsu sent a voicemail to his group members on a radio program. Junsu said, “I wanted to tell the members something” and revealed, “The truth will always win.”
Then he said, “The members are actually going through so many difficulties these days and are very tired, but as an older brother, I wasn’t able to say kind remarks to them so I’m really sorry.”
Also, he revealed that the members have been struggling after Jaebum’s withdrawal by saying, “The truth will always win. I hope we can show that we work hard even with just 6 members and continue working together without changing our attitudes.”
However, Junsu is implying something else. ‘The truth will always win’ and ‘Let’s work just as a 6-member group’ seems to be remarks towards Jaebum who officially withdrew from 2PM on February.
Why would he say “The truth will always win” at this point when he is working in the group and currently promoting their new album? His remarks are receiving even more attention because Jaebum will soon make his comeback with a movie.
So, what is the meaning of the ‘truth’ Junsu said? Wouldn’t it be about the ‘serious personal issue’ that led to Jaebum’s withdrawal from 2PM? 2PM’s company JYP Entertainment revealed that the personal issue was the main reason Jaebum left.
After, the ‘serious personal issue’ gained a lot of attention because of the fight for the truth between 2PM and Jaebum. However, Jaebum and JYP both did not reveal the truth. Because of this, so many different speculations were rampant that fans made a ‘Jaebum vs 2PM-JYP’ contrast.
This contrast still exists among the fans and many fans are currently on Jaebum’s side.
Because of this, Junsu’s remark seems to clearly remark that there are no lies about what happened with 2PM and Jaebum. Also, you can assume that by emphasizing that 2PM is 6 members, they clearly accentuate that they will not come together with Jaebum.
Also, Jaebum confirmed that he and 2PM are separate. This can be an obvious example of Junsu’s “Let’s work together as the 6-member group.” Junsu, who had to say the truth, did not say any names, but you can definitely assume the purpose.
Jaebum and 2PM’s fight about the truth has still not been solved. Jaebum is coming back to Korea soon because of the filming for his movie and the reason why people are so interested in that is because of what’s happening between 2PM and Jaebum.
It’s hard to judge who’s right and who’s not. But eventually, both sides will come out and say their position. The relationship between 2PM and Jaebum will be solved then too.
People’s opinions of 2PM and JYP are not very good. Even if it really is Jaebum’s problem, like 2PM and JYP said, they still need to be careful about what they say about Jaebum. Like Junsu said, the truth will eventually be revealed.
