Seoul city will reveal their charm to countries oversees through a TV commercial with Korean stars Lee Byung Hun, 2PM and Wonder Girls.
The oversees CF that is being filmed this year use images associated with Seoul to show Seoul’s cultural charm through 4 emotion codes (the romantic city, the lively city, the enchanting city, the mysterious city) to reveal “Seoul is a city that doesn’t have many sights, but you can feel and imagine, and will leave a lasting memory as the city of hope and yearning.”
This TV CF will capture influential Korean stars in each region.
The Wonder Girls, who are popular in not just Asia but also gaining popularity in America, will shoot a cameo in amusement parks and restaurants which are favored by Chinese people and the representative Korean star Lee Byung Hun travels with Japanese tourists throughout the day to discover and enjoy Seoul’s hidden charm, and conveys ‘the desire to find Seoul again.’
Another popular group, 2PM, will release a 30 second commercial using international entertainment expertise and its broadcast is expected to have synergy effects.
