What kind of choreography makes members lose up to 5kg?!
Congratulations on your Japanese debut. The track “Take Off” is a very refreshing song, just like the title. Tell me, which part of the song you want to express the most?
Taecyeon| I think this track will change the beastly aspect of our former image. I hope it’ll give the people courage with the positive lyrics about the future and departure.
Nichkhun| This song will make you feel positive with fresh melody and lyrics. I want the listener to feel lively.
Junho| This is the first track we sing in Japanese. I worked hard on difficult pronunciation. I will be glad if more people gets to know 2PM!
Junsu| We made this track with a wish that is “we worked in Korea hard and with the Japanese fans we will create the future together” Let’s TAKE OFF together, everyone!
Wooyoung| This track has a message that says never to give up following your dream until the very end. It also gives me power too.
Chansung| I like my phrase “a magical word to make it into a strong courage” I’ll be happy if TAKE OFF becomes your magical word.
The Performance is also one of 2PM’s appeals. Which part is the most important in this track?
Taecyeon| That’s exactly the one which represents “Take Off”. I think you’ll underestand what I mean as soon as you see it. You’ll always enjoy doing this choreography with us in the concerts.
Then I have to practice it soon! (laugh) Can you tell which points I should pay attention to, when I sing and dance to this song?
Taecyeon| Move your body magnificently just like flying into the sky.
Nichkhun| It’s important to feel the rhythm with your whole body.
Junsu| Put a strong accent on the word “Ready”.
Tell me any of your stories which relate to fate, just like in the lyrics.
Taecyeon| Being a member of 2PM!
Nichkhun| It’s been the most precious fate to meet the 2PM members.
Junho| I don’t believe in fate. I think we should open up our own destiny.
Taecyeon| Weight training! Meal restriction is also effective, but weight training is the best way, I think.
Nichkhun| Whenever I have time, I go to gym. You should work out well, sleep well, and eat well. Don’t skip your meals!
Junsu| We lost 5kg each during the IBB promotions.
Wooyoung| I try not to eat between 3 meals.
Chansung| I work out every day. I think chin-ups is the most effective. Very hard though. (laugh) I work out every single day when I am in Japan too.
Although you are very busy every day, when you are down, how do you keep your mind calm?
Taecyeon| I think the reason why I fail is because I lack something. I try to think that I should learn from my mistakes.
Nichkhun| When I feel bad, I take a rest a little bit. I cheer myself up, in order not to feel blue too much.
Junho| I believe that everything is necessary to grow up.
Junsu| I listen to cheerful music and watch good movies to cheer myself up.
Wooyoung| I try to enjoy making an effort.
Chansung| I work out. It makes me feel better to work out while listening to some music.
I think it might be the question the female fans want to know the most. (laugh) Which part do you think is the most important at the first glance?
Taecyeon| Voice!
Nichkhun| Eyes when she is smiling.
Junho| Atmosphere.
Junsu| Eyes and smiling face.
Wooyoung| Eyes.
Chansung| Eyes.
Many of you answered that the eyes are important. (laugh) Then, finally, tell me where do you want to go or what to do you want to do when you come to Japan?
Taecyeon| I am looking forward to seeing all of you in each of the 5 cities! I’d like to try each area’s food.
Nichkhun| I want to go to hot springs. My dream is to take my parents around Japan.
Junho| I want to go to Hokkaido. I want to run and play sports in grassland.
Junsu| I want to go up to the Tokyo Tower, and I want the Japanese fans to listen to the music that I’ve composed.
Wooyoung| I want to hold a concert at Tokyo Dome. I believe it would be wonderful to perform in front of tens of thousands of people. I might cry then.
Chansung| I want to go to see the drifting ice in Hokkaido.
