Hype Nation.
As we all know by now, Jason Lee is good friends with JYPE. He had been eyeing Jay for a while when Jay was in 2PM for his dancing skills and talents. However, since: 1) the pay for JYPE was low, 2) the movie budget was low, and 3) JYPE looked down on this C-list movie, JYPE rejected the offer on behalf of Jay. Even though JYP was Jason Lee’s good friend, he felt that it was a risk for his artist to join that movie, especially one that was not A-list. After JYPE ended Jay’s contract, Jason Lee asked Jay again if he would like to film in Hype Nation and Jay accepted because he wasn’t “greedy” when it came to the pay.

Jason Lee had a talk with JYPE after Jay’s contract ended. Basically, both of them agreed to try and help one another promote each others’ works. Jay is like a “guinea pig” for them to test the results and is the perfect person to make use of right now, since both Lee and JYP are currently suffering. What Jay can do for both Jason Lee and JYPE now is that: Jason Lee knows that Jay Park is a hot issue now in Korea and all over the world. Knowing Jay accepted his movie offer makes him extremely happy because Jay can now promote and boost his B/C-listed movie to an A-list popularity level. This movie that Jason Lee has been trying to get off the ground for years can finally succeed. If he plans to film another movie in the future, he might help JYPE promote Taecyeon/Nichkhun or “6PM” through his movies which might be A/B-listed after the success of Hype Nation. This would be another way to show that “6PM” did much better than Jay in the future upgraded movie on the international level. If this scenario occurs, Jay degrades his “price” of himself in the entertainment biz and the “value” of 6PM will be much higher than Jay. These are the behind the scene motives. Jason Lee doesn’t mean to help JYPE artists break the American market – it’s more like helping them get into movies that will help himself too. So he’s trying to show his movie in a better perspective by using Jay to pull up his standard of his movie now. If this movie turns out well, more money for him. Then, in the future, he will have better connections to upgrade his movie standard so he can help JYP.

ALSO, Jason Lee has two identities. He’s Yong Lee AND Jason Lee. You’ve probably seen different interviews conducted with “Yong Lee” and other interviews conducted with “Jason Lee”, under the impression that those two are different people confirming the same things. They’re the same person. Jason Lee has also been overhyping the movie and making it seem more than it actually is. (… this is not a pun on words). We can’t go into detail about this, but just know that things are not what they seem. There is a lot of media play.


BUT, NO MATTER WHAT: FANS MUST WATCH THE MOVIE FOR JAY AND HIS HARD WORK SO JAY CAN SIGN WITH BIGGER COMPANIES LATER ON! Jay Effect, yes? (:

i really HATE this kind of people!!!
to be honest even Hype Nation movies are C-list movies i LOVE all of it..
I watch it on Cinemas & even bought DVD's as my collection, i'm one of those who is jumping w/ Joy after hearing the new's of Jay doing a movie under them, another DVD for my collection and MUCH MUCH special because it's JAY, a guy that i adored the most,,

but one thing is certain i will boycott Jason Lee's movie after this...--pinkbunny
