Raining Pleas "Please block them"

'
JYPE is one of the largest entertainment agencies in Korea. 2PM is a group that JYPE debuted, and up until September of last year, Park Jaebum was their leader. Due to a series of forced mistranslations and misinterpretations, he was chased out of the Korean land and returned to his mother's residence in Seattle. In February, he was terminated from JYPE due to a one sided public announcement of his 'immoral private life.' Without even an opportunity to excuse himself, Park Jaebum was thrown away from Korea.

But he was able to fly. He was able to fly only after he was trampled on by his company. His start was simple. After creating his own Youtube channel, he sang his confessions to the fans in his own house's bathroom. Although he took his small first step in order to better communicate with his fans, it was his fans that attached the large wings onto his step.

His video garnered over 2 million views on the first day and ranked as the #1 video on Youtube, a site that is viewed internationally. It's a touching story made by Park Jaebum, a story of the desire to communicate with the fans that believed in him and waited for him.

The truth will never be revealed as to whether it is an issue of an immoral private life or the tyranny of large corporations, but it is definite that no amount of money poured into their characteristic media play will ever be able to buy out the feelings of rejection that the public is feeling against JYPE and 2PM now.

What is most interesting about this case is that there is something 'weird' going on with the fans. Fans are usually supposed to scream with delight and wildly express their love. However, the fans of Park Jaebum are different. Instead of screams of enthusiasm, anyone can feel the sad, mournful tinges. For the case of Korean-American fans, another vocabulary is added to the list which is 'pain.'

"Would it have gone this far if Jaebum was not a Korean-American?"
"We must make sure to never let something like this happen again in our land."
"The name that pains us so, Park Jaebum. He is now the son of Korean-Americans everywhere. Until the truth is revealed, we will walk together."

After having been ripped and stepped on by JYPE, the fans are taking this young Korean-American's dreams and pains as their own.

But to JYPE, these feelings are nothing. Starting in June, they will be touring in nine different cities with concerts. As if it is not enough that the person they have so cruelly thrown away is a Korean-American, they are bringing 2PM onto the stages of America.

Is there ever a more agreeable word such as 'pain' amongst the immigrant society? The Korean society in America, with a 100 year long history, has experienced and regretted more things than we can ever imagine. They have become increasingly sensitive to people that treat 'our (Korean-American) people, our (Korean-American) children' as cruelly as they wish.

JYPE's American conquest will not be easy. The Korean-Americans are still treating an unhealed wound, and JYPE's American tour will only be pouring salt on them.

"I don't believe that that company should be able to perform as they wish in America. We need to block these people from taking our children through auditions. We must make sure that such an inhumane company will never be able to treat these children wrongly ever again."

Already, News Korea is being met with posts of anger and rejection of JYPE's intended plans in America. The company will never listen to these cries of these fans.

But why the cries of these fans hit louder than any bang of thunder is that the fans that are treating the wounds of a shattered heart are 'mothers' that are helping Jaebum find his rightful place. The very people that identify with his wounds.
