The member's of 2pm looked handsome and charismatic wearing casual clothes and posing alongside the model's just like a professional model. MC Yoon JongShin asked ChanSung, “Not long ago, 2PM went to Paris to have a performance. How was the reaction?”. In reply to this question, ChanSung said, “It turned out as a surprise because the response much was better than we thought.”

[News] 2PM on NHK "Learning Korean Through TV" press conference 2:45 AM

Idol group 2PM, also known as "Beastly idol", will regularly appear on NHK "Learning Korean through TV" in April.

The group attended the press conference at NHK in Shibuya Tokyo. During the event, Chansung said " I was really surprised and worried how I should teach it, but I enjoyed the recording today", talking about their first regular program.

Nichkhun said "If you love 2PM more, you could improve that rapidly", sharing tips for a quick improvement for Korean words, which aroused laughter to everyone.

The theme of the program is "Let's take a trip to Korea by mothers and daughters - Acquire the conversation in practice -" and 2PM will show the viewers any usable phrases for a trip to Korea with their short play.

In the program, Chan Eun−Yeon, a newscaster of NHK, food researcher Kentesu Kou, Tomoki Fujiwara, Jisong and Jeong Seong-Woon will be appearing and learning the language as students

Member Junho struggled with how to act his role in the program the most and said, "It was hard for me because I've never acted before, but I enjoyed it" with a embarrassed smile.

They each mentioned a favorite Korean word from Japanese fans shyly that "Cool" as Chansung, "2PM is very passionate" as Junsu, "The most hardworking idol in Korea" as Wooyoung, "I will go to your concert" as Junho, "Become rich" as Nichkhun and "Oppa" as Taecyeon.

2PM has captured Thailand!

2PM, attracting whole Asia with the first Tour Concert that sells out more than 52,000 tickets, has captured Thailand with the concert that was hotter than the sun.

2PM has landed in Thailand last 16th of February for the first Thailand Concert. On 17th of February, 2PM has delivered their greetings of appreciation to local fans and press in the middle of warm welcome that came from 3,000 fans and local press reporters who visited Siam Center hall. The continued HI-TOUCH Event was done in between 500 fans who won over enormous competition and 2PM members. 2PM members have spent the enjoyable time with those fans who cheered for them despite the blazing sun during the time of the Event. With the love the fans sent during the event, 2PM has had the most memorable time, forgetting about the steaming hot weather.

On the same day during the press conference at Impact Arena, a fine moment took place where the plaque of appreciation has been delivered from Red Cross to 2PM who has donated the partial revenue from the Concert.

On the next day, the 18th of February, 2PM Concert at Impact Arena, the biggest indoor performance stadium, got crowded with numerous reporters and fans even before the concert. Even after the sold-out, the audience kept on sending enquiries to get the tickets.

Over the 2 hours of the Concert, the Impact Arena was filled with 9,000 fans filled with wild excitement, and 2PM, touched by the love of the fans, gave out their best performance ever, presenting the most amazing time to them.

Especially for the Thai fans, Nichkhun has sung the song of Thai artist ‘Bird’ in surprise which touched the fans’ hearts. The fans have produced the special video clip for 2PM and Nichkhun in appreciation of their donation for the Thai flood which teared the 2PM members.

On the other hand, 2PM is now facing to go to China for concert in continuance of Asia Tour Concert until March.

[News] Nichkhun gets offended with Block B's interview 3:35 AM

2PM's Nichkhun and fellow members left criticizing tweets toward Block B's controversial interview.

On February 19th, Nichkhun tweeted, “The people who thoughtlessly comment on the flood damages in Thailand, I feel offended as a person of Thai nationality. And rather than acting thoughtlessly when you come to Thailand, you should have respect towards the country and have the attitude to recognize it in a rightful manner.”

During an interview for Thai online media RYT9’s ‘New Artist- Block B in Thailand’, Block B made an inappropriate comment about a flood in Thailand. In the video clip, Block B said, “Hope the monetary compensation helps to heal your hearts. We got nothing but money. About 7,000 KRW (a little less than $7)?”, with their easy-going attitude. Such statements and actions have been criticized as insensitive creating a buzz online.

2PM members, Junho and Chansung also left messages. Junho stated, “I will not mention any names but the action and the attitude was very embarrassing as a Korean myself. Such action not only affects the person but also makes the people around them look bad. Just know that and behave. I’m saying this as a human being and as a senior artist.”

Chansung said, “No matter how hard you try not to be careless, it happens sometimes. However, being inconsiderate and acting as if you are better than others is not being careless but just proves what kind of person you are. You should be ashamed.”

2PM receives ‘Most Popular Asian Singer’, stands tall as Asia’s top singer 10:35 PM

Korea’s top class performance boyband 2PM have stood tall as the top singer of the Korean Wave.

2PM received the honorary ‘Most Popular Asian Singer’ award at the ‘Mandarin Music Honours 2010’(‘MMH 2010’) on the 18th, held at the Wukesong Arena in China.

‘MMH 2010’, currently at its 10th year, is hosted by MTV and CCTV. It is the largest annual music festival in China with Asia’s popular singers from countries including Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong attending. It is also Asia’s largest music festival.

2PM participated as a representative of Korea and they received the ‘Most Popular Asian Singer’ award, which placed them at the top of the singers of the Korean Wave. Previously, Korea’s most popular Korean Wave singers such as Rain, Jang Nara, Shin Seunghun have received MMH ‘Top Korean Singer of the Year’, but 2PM is the first Korean recipient of ‘Most Popular Asian Singer’ award.

This is an example of the power of Korean groups who are leading Asia’s mass culture. 2PM who participated as the Korean representative at ‘MMH 2010’ have said that “we are greatly honoured and happy to be representing the Korean singers at MMH” and “we send our thanks to our Asian fans who helped us receive ‘Most Popular Asian Singer’ award. Monkey3: Please introduce your mini album “Still 2:00PM’.

2PM: More than anything we wanted to show things which haven’t changed within 2PM. We’re just as constant with our music and performance as our fans, who have never had a change of heart.


Monkey3: Usually during album recording various happenings occur. I wonder if there were any special happenings during your preparation.

Junsu: It was hard preparing the acrobatics part. Junho got injured suddenly, I got my finger hurt… Everyone wasn’t in their best condition, but in the end it turned out good as we kept on encouraging each other.

Junho: There’s a part in the title song “너는 다시 돌아 올꺼야” (neoneun dashi dora olkkeoya – you’ll come back again), I accidentally sang it out as “dashi doraolKKEUya” and naturally got scolded by Jinyoung-hyung.

Chansung: Mmm… no matter how you look at it, injuries occur quite frequently while doing acrobatics, so whenever that happens I always feel a heavy tug at my heart.

Taecyeon: There was a dance breaking part full of hard technical acrobatics which I was supposed to do with Junho, but during practice Junho injured his shoulder and I was really worried about it. I hope he gets well soon.

Wooyoung: I feel very thankful and sorry at the same time that Jinyoung-hyung once again had to write a title song for us.

Nichkhun: The dance was harder and more physically demanding than I initially thought; I remember sitting down to catch my breath after every single practice.
