Olympic Park rejects Jaebum's fanmeeting, why?
It has been recently revealed that Olympic Park rejected former 2PM member and leader Jaebum's fan meeting. Much attention has been put on the reason why.
Mid June, Jaebum's associates announced that the fan meetings on the 28th and 29th will be held in Koryeo University.

However, Jaebum's associates revealed that they were planning to hold the fan meeting in an arena inside Olympic Park instead of Koryeo University.
Olympic Park is used as a performance hall by many singers and is also used for various sports such as fencing and etc. It is a very familiar location for Korean music fans and singers which is why Jaebum's associates attempted to hold the fan meeting there.
Regardless, Jaebum was met with rejection from the Olympic Park associates.
Regarding this, many Korean music industry associates are speculating, "It's because of Jaebum's history of having belittled Korea, which is why public facilities Olympic Park rejected him."
However, Olympic Park associates rejected the claim and stated that it was just an exaggeration. They did confirm their rejection, but for what reason?
Olympic Park spoke with Star News on the afternoon of the 3rd and stated, "It is true that we rejected Jaebum's fan meeting request. It is not because of his 'Korea belittling' controversy but because we received complaints from 2PM fans expressing that they will be assembling a protest against Jaebum's fan meeting if it goes through. Because we are a public facility, we had to prevent such events from happening which is why we rejected Jaebum's request."
It seems as if the battle between 2PM and Jaebum fans is still ongoing.
Olympic Park spoke with E Daily on the 3rd and stated, "Since Olympic Park is a public facility, we had to discuss whether a fan meeting would be possible. We were viewing the discussion positively at first until we learned that Park Jaebum fans and 2PM fans did not have a good relationship. 2PM fans told us that they will be holding a protest if Olympic Park allowed for Park Jaebum's fan meeting. Since Olympic Park is a public facility, we do not want any trouble so we told Park Jaebum's associates that it would be difficult for them to hold a fan meeting with us. There isn't any other reason besides this."
