The paperwork might be a done deal but it seems like the unsolved grudges are still there. As if previously promised to each other beforehand, group 2PM and withdrawn Park Jaebum, both released new tracks and both contained each of their own feelings in a significant way.
The strange steps made by both sides of this unprecedented happening is flowing with tension. There is even a rally forming between their songs, and both in direct and indirect ways, this type of rivalry is the first time it has happened. What's more is that all of this happened within the two months since the official announcement was made. The moment they walked away from each other they started to work on their own work.
Park Jaebum directly spoke in his own words of his current mental state. Featuring in American rapper Dumbfoundead's song Clouds, he rapped "Cause although I live in Seattle, it's not always gonna rain, there'll be some sunny days coming up this way", "I still show them some love, cause unlike that girl in the move, I ain't holding no grudge."
2PM metaphorically expressed their internal conditions. In their new song 'Without U', although the song talks about their lover's lies and betrayal, but the inside meaning of Jaebum's withdrawal is buried in the lyrics. 2PM sings "Without you, I'll be cooler", "Was it enough to throw everything we had?", and entertainment company JYPE further explained that "the song is about the members overcoming the hardships they've faced and the start of their new journey."
To simply decide that the lyrics are their real feelings may be a little unreasonable, but there is a pattern with the current situation they are facing. The company did not forecast that all of this would happen after the separated connection with Park Jaebum, they don't even have of a complex causation in mind. Rather, they are just using the same method as for their previous album 1:59PM, where they indirectly expressed their await for Park Jaebum, an indirect application method. That is why their excessively deep meanings of their songs are getting a sensitive reaction.
Without even a concrete explanation they said it was because of 'Jaebum's serious personal mistake". As both sides display a dangerous line of animosity, both have started to walk their own ways.
