Chansung’s Special Interview
I’m the type, who can’t act like a baby towards another person first!”
Q: What are you interested in the most in the entertainment world?
Chansung: I’ve been interested in drama and variety since I was a child. I also thought that I would like to try out modeling. But I realized how interesting it is to immerse into the music together, while I was practicing singing and dancing.
Q: When do you think it’s fortunate that you’re in a group?
Chansung: Always. Members encourage me when I’m depressed, and help out when it is difficult. Even though I no longer live with my parents, I have never felt lonely. As we live together, we got to know each other well, and if there is some kind of tension, for example, even if you don’t say “I’m a little bit worried about this or that”, someone will come over and ask “Is everything alright?”. Worrying and caring about each other is a feeling that comes naturally. Should I say that it also helps to grow us as human-beings…?
Q: It seems like the members would call you either a typical “maknae” or grandpa-like character.
Chansung: It must be my real image then (laughs). Either way, when I’m with the members, I don’t worry too much about anything, and so I can show them my real honest me.
Q: Are you the youngest in your family as well?
Chansung: I have an older brother.
Q: Then can you act cute well?
Chansung: Not really! I’m the type, who can’t act like a baby towards another person first!
Q: You have a very big stature, is that hereditary?
Chansung: My father is big. But my mother is petite. The fact that I’m big should also be related to all the training that I go through. There was a period when I was having a very extensive training, and when I met my high school friends after 3 months of that, they were very surprised, saying “You got big!” (laughs)
Taecyeon: Big.
Nichkhun: Like a friend from next door (laughs)
Wooyoung: Very considerate and thinks from the other person’s point of view as well.
Junho: The youngest. Cute.
Junsu: Glutton!

Junho’s Special Interview
“As far as performing is concerned, I think that if you personally don’t believe you can do it, then it won’t work out.”
Q: What are you interested in the most in the entertainment world?
Junho: It all began in my childhood, when I wished I could be like the stars on TV. I was especially interested in dancing and acting. I also studied theater for about half a year. So, even though at first I was craving for the dazzling world of entertainment, as I felt the interest and joy while I was learning singing and dancing, rather than being famous simply for appearing on TV, I grew to think “I want to do even better!”.
Q: When do you think it’s fortunate that you’ve debuted in a group?
Junho: As we’re always together, and we take doing things together as the most obvious thing, when I have personal activities, I come to think that it gets lonely without the others, and it would be better if we did it together. These are the times I realize how much strength it gives me, the mere fact that they are with me. Also, it’s very fun when all six of us are in one place (laughs).
Q: So you don’t like solo activities?
Junho: That is not like it. I simply feel that I am still very lacking in many aspects. I guess I want to take group activities as the possibility to improve my skills even more.
Q: Is there a character trait or an ability which makes you special among 2PM?
Junho: I have confidence in doing acrobatics, dancing, singing and acting! That is not to say that I’m particularly overconfident, I simply believe that as far as performance is concerned if you personally don’t believe you can do it, then it won’t work out. For something like acrobatics team-work is especially important. I’ve actually got injured after a failure. But there’s no other way out – you have to keep on training in order not to turn it into traumatic experience. I think you can overcome almost anything if you try enough.
Taecyeon: very manly, cool and charming.
Nichkhun: adolescent maknae.
Wooyoung: gives an impression of a strong person at first glance, but he really is a mischievous, honest and hardworking guy.
Junsu: hardworking!
Chansung: very impatient (laughs). But he also has very deep thoughts; these two different sides of his personality are interesting.
