Regarding airing old footage of 2PM's performances including Jaebum at Mnet 20's Choice awards, Mnet associates stated, "The live broadcast ended earlier than planned so we aired it in order to match the times."

At Mnet 20's Choice, Mnet added footage of 2PM and Jaebum right after DJ DOC's stage. Viewers that saw last year's awards show could tell that the footage was old but it was easy for new viewers to mistake the footage as 2PM actually appearing on stage with Jaebum as a surprise event, giving room for noise marketing claims.

Mnet spoke on the 26th with OSEn and stated, "Since the awards show is broadcast live, it ended earlier than planned. We decided to broadcast 2PM's highlight videos in order to match it to the real ending time planned."

When asked why they had to choose exactly that video out of the many highlight videos 2PM has, Mnet stated, "Last year's performance caught high interest so we decided to broadcast that."

When asked if they intended to create noise marketing, Mnet replied, "No, we never intended to create noise marketing. We aired 2PM's highlight video in order to match the ending time."

Mnet 20's Choice awards is also leaving netizens suspicious of the fact that many awards weren't given to the stars that publicly won the award.
