[NEWS] 2PM, "Necktie Dance" Premiere at Jingu Gaien Fireworks Festival Receives Attention!!

The "Nikkan Sports Sponsored Higashinippon Great Earthquake Reconstruction Charity 2011 Jingu Gaien Fireworks Festival ~Fireworks to Cheer Up Japan~" event was held at Meiji Jingu Gaien in Tokyo on August 6 (Sat), where Korea's No.1 Beast Idols 2PM appeared onstage at the Chichibunomiya Rugby Stadium to perform their new song "I'm your man" for the first time.

2011 marks the 32nd year that the "Jingu Gaien Fireworks Festival," an established summer event of Tokyo, was put on. It is common knowledge to those who go fireworks sightseeing at the beach in Kawahara that smack dab in the center of the city, as a characteristic of the Fireworks Festival, you can (for a fee) leisurely and comfortably sit down and enjoy the nighttime mood at the stadium (Jingu Stadium, Jingu Nanshiki Baseball Ground, Chichibunomiya Rugby Stadium, and National Stadium). A total of 10,000 starmine (fireworks fired off in rapid succession) were fired off during the climax this year. The audience count surpassed the previous record with 110,207 people.

With wonderful performers every year and the great appeal of how the concert has developed over time, no live concert at the Jingu Gaien Fireworks Festival has ever been a disappointment, especially when 2PM performed their 2nd Japanese single "I'm your man" at Chichibunomiya Rugby Stadium ahead of its August 17 release.

Amidst the endless cheers, 2PM appeared onstage and started right off with performing their new single "I'm your man" for the first time. This song is full of 2PM's "beastly" appeal; the song brings out the maximum of their "manly and powerful" charms. Last time their debut single "Take off" became known for its "airplane dance" but this new work introduces the "necktie dance." The audience was completely captivated by their wilder than ever, and hard, sexy dance.

The performance continued with the coupling track "Without U -Japanese ver.-" and "Heartbeat -Japanese ver.-" which is known for its kumitaisou (group gymnastics).

After changing outfits, they appeared onstage once again and the concert hall sang along to the commemoration of their Japan debut single "Take off." For the end, they performed their new song "Hands Up" that was just released in Korea in June and were the last on the stage. ("Hands Up ~JAPAN SPECIAL EDITION~" goes on sale August 17).

2PM, who have become even more powerful with their new song, will have their next stage at "JYP NATION in Japan 2011," an event in association with the company they belong to, JYP Entertainment. The 2-day event will be held on August 17 (Wed) and August 18 (Thurs) at Saitama Super Arena.

Anticipation is growing more and more as to what 2PM's next stage will be like.
