[INFO] 100421 Retracted JYPE claim from Wonder Girls tour article

Late last night, we reported an article that blatantly shifted the controversies surrounding the Wonder Girls tour with 2PM onto Jay. Many of you defended JYPE, stating that the article is in fact NOT media play as JYPE never makes a statement on it and that it was just written by an angry journalist wishing to stir up hate.

JYPE's main stars, 2PM and the Wonder Girls, are being met with extreme difficulties overseas because of the 'Jaebum obstacle.'

Having recently released their new minialbum, 2PM has once again become swept into controversy with their connection to Jaebum, who is also starting his own activities in America. However, the dark cloud is also reaching the Wonder Girls who are currently preparing for their tour concert this June.

The 2PM and Jaebum controversy is expected to affect Wonder Girls' American tour. Jaebum's Korean-American fans have declared a boycott stance after hearing of 2PM opening for the Wonder Girls' concert. The Korean-American fans are sending negative signals to JYPE for kicking out a third generation Korean and attempting to garner sympathy. Many of the press sites for Dallas, LA, and other cities where the concert will be opening in, are being met with an influx of posts that are stating, "Reject the concert."

EyesOnFire05 further investigated the article and found out that in fact JYPE did make a statement within the article that confirmed the claims, accused the fans of promoting rivarly, and defended their stance with sympathy. kHottests kept captions of the original claim, shown below.

The article became highly controversial upon release and was met with intense backlash. Once JYPE realized that they would not be able to garner any sympathy, they immediately retracted their claim and promptly deleted the entire statement from the article itself
